Sometimes, the central focal point indexed from Google (centre of the mall may not be where you child is, especially if the place your child is at is huge) is not 100% similar to your child’s exact coordinates. In such cases, Google may not return a “true” result.
Check if your child device is connected (wifi/mobile data).
Check if your child device has gone to sleep completely.
Check if your child has manually turned off Location in the device.
